a) Custom size: If you have an image in JPEG without considering the image size or its resolution, we can print multiple images of it in high quality as per the required size. This can be done easily in Adobe Photoshop. The required size is 5 cm x 5 cm size. Follow the steps
- Open a new file (Ctrl + N). Input the required size of 5 cm height and 5 cm width. Make sure that the resolution is 300 dpi (or pixels/inch).
- Next step is to place the image. This can be done from the file menu: File – Place – Select the original JPEG file. Now the image is placed on the opened page.
- Go to the Edit menu – Click on Define Pattern from the drop-down menu and save the pattern by giving a file name in the computer.
- Create a new A4 page (Ctrl + N). Make sure that the height is 29.7 cm, the width is 21 cm and the resolution is 300 dpi. (Or from the “New” dialogue box, select the International Paper size (A4) from the preset and make sure that the resolution is in 300 dpi)
- Press F7 for the Layer palette.
- Click the adjustment layer button as shown in the picture. From the popup list click on the Pattern. Now the 5×5 cm multiple images will appear on your A4 Page and it is ready for printing.
The entire multiple images can be printed out on a paper sheet or sticker. The individual image size will be 5×5 cm.
(b) Random size: If you want multiple images in an A4 sheet not based on the size but only the number, like 2,4,9 or 35 per page. Follow the steps
- Right-click the JPEG image in the folder. A Popup list appears.
- Click print. A dialogue box appears.
- On the right sidebar of the dialogue box, there are multiple layouts on which the images can be printed out. Depending on your requirement, you can enter the number of images you want in the Copies of each picture text box and click print.
